When it comes to stair railings, we recommend the following:


Posts

- 40 mm posts: 9–10 per meter  

- 65 mm posts: 7 per meter  

- 85 mm posts: 5 per meter  


Railing profiles: 8 per meter  


The spacing between posts is largely a matter of preference. However, it’s important to place the spindles close enough together to prevent small children from slipping through and avoid fall accidents. In Sweden, the spacing between posts/spindles should not exceed 100 mm to ensure child safety.
